RAV4 overview
The sixth-generation RAV4 arrived in the Philippines in 2026 as a hybrid-only SUV with all-wheel drive. Toyota offers two trims, the 2.5 Adventure HEV CVT at ₱2,227,000 and the 2.5 Limited HEV CVT at ₱2,549,000, with Platinum White Pearl Mica adding ₱15,000 to the Limited. Those figures include an August 2026 increase of ₱49,000 on the Adventure and ₱59,000 on the Limited. Toyota also sold the previous-generation RAV4 here; the new one is hybrid-only.
Both use a 2,487 cc four-cylinder hybrid system, listed at 236 hp, with an e-CVT and all-wheel drive. The AWD is Toyota's E-Four system, which drives the rear wheels with an electric motor instead of a propeller shaft. The RAV4 is 4,620 mm long on a 2,690 mm wheelbase, with 201 mm of ground clearance, a 55-liter tank and five seats. That clearance is generous for a car-based SUV and helps on rough provincial roads and in moderate floods.
The Adventure costs ₱322,000 less than the Limited and has the same drivetrain, which makes it the value pick unless you want the Limited's extra equipment. At this price the RAV4 runs into the Honda CR-V, the Mazda CX-5 and plug-in hybrids from BYD and Geely. Compare running costs as well as SRP. The RAV4 is a conventional hybrid, so it never needs a plug, and it can still claim the hybrid number-coding exemption once it carries a green plate. If you need a third row at this price, look at the Fortuner or the Zenix hybrid instead.
Who it is for: Families who want a five-seat hybrid SUV with all-wheel drive for city traffic and out-of-town trips, without plugging in.
