CX-60 overview

The CX-60 is Mazda's inline-six SUV, and the Philippine range has two versions on the September 2026 list. The 3.3L AWD HEV Turbo uses a gasoline six and costs ₱2,940,000. The 3.3L AWD HEV Turbo-D Sport uses a diesel six and costs ₱2,990,000. Both have mild-hybrid assist and rear-biased all-wheel drive. ZigWheels lists 280 PS and 450 Nm for the gasoline engine, and 251 hp and 550 Nm for the diesel. Both cost ₱445,000 to ₱495,000 more than the new CX-5.

The model got an update for 2026, and prices moved during the year. The gasoline Turbo was ₱2,890,000 on Mazda's February list and is now ₱2,940,000, while the diesel stayed at ₱2,990,000. That leaves only ₱50,000 between them, which on paper makes the diesel the easy pick if you cover long provincial distances, thanks to its extra 100 Nm. White Nappa leather with maple wood trim is a ₱50,000 option on the gasoline Turbo. Paint surcharges match the rest of the range, up to ₱22,400.

At 4,745 mm long with 175 mm of ground clearance and a 58-liter tank, the CX-60 is a five-seater, not a family seven-seater; for that, Mazda sells the CX-8 and CX-90. Its natural rivals include midsize SUVs from Hyundai and Kia and the BYD Sealion 7 EV at ₱2,588,000. The draw here is a big six-cylinder engine with AWD for under ₱3 million. Whether that beats an EV's lower running costs depends on how far you drive and where you can charge. For long runs to the provinces, the diesel's range is hard to argue with.

Who it is for: Drivers who want a powerful AWD SUV for long highway trips and don't need a third row.

Mazda CX-60 FAQ

How much is the Mazda CX-60 in 2026?

₱2,940,000 for the 3.3L AWD HEV Turbo (gasoline) and ₱2,990,000 for the 3.3L AWD HEV Turbo-D Sport (diesel), per Mazda Philippines' September 2026 price list. White Nappa leather adds ₱50,000 on the gasoline version.

Gasoline or diesel CX-60?

On paper the diesel gives 550 Nm against 450 Nm for ₱50,000 more, which suits long highway runs and full loads. The gasoline engine has more peak power. If most of your driving is short city trips, the gasoline version is the simpler choice.

Is the CX-60 a plug-in hybrid in the Philippines?

No. Both local variants use a mild-hybrid system that assists the engine. Neither can be charged from the grid or driven on electric power alone.
