PV5 Cargo overview

The PV5 Cargo is Kia's purpose-built electric van, aimed at businesses doing last-mile deliveries. Kia Philippines lists it at ₱2,098,000 in November 2026. The brochure covers one body, the PV5 Cargo Long, with a 51.5 kWh battery, a motor rated at 163 PS (about 161 hp) and 250 Nm, and a range of 384 km on the NEDC cycle.

The numbers that matter for a business are in the back. Kia lists 4,420 liters of cargo space, a cargo bay 2,255 mm long, 1,565 mm wide and 1,520 mm tall, and a maximum payload of 805 kg. The step-in height is 419 mm, which saves effort for riders loading parcels dozens of times a day, and there's a side sliding door plus dual-swing rear doors that open from 95 to 180 degrees. Up front are two seats, a 12.9-inch infotainment screen and a 7.5-inch digital cluster. Kia lists forward collision avoidance, autonomous emergency braking, lane keeping assist, smart cruise control and parking sensors with a rear camera. The battery has an 8-year or 160,000 km warranty.

Charging takes about 4 hours 45 minutes from 10 to 80 percent on an 11 kW AC charger, or about 30 minutes on a 350 kW DC unit, according to the brochure. For a fleet that returns to a depot each night, overnight AC charging should cover a typical city route. The body is 4,695 mm long, which helps on narrow streets in Divisoria or Binondo. As an EV it's exempt from Metro Manila number coding under the EVIDA law, which means a delivery van can run every weekday. Weigh that, plus lower energy and maintenance costs, against the range and refueling speed of a diesel van.

Who it is for: Delivery, logistics and small businesses running city routes that can charge vehicles overnight at a depot.
