Territory Hybrid overview
Since the August 2025 facelift, the Territory sold in the Philippines is a hybrid and nothing else. Top Gear Philippines reported that the market was the first in the world to get this particular powertrain. Ford's site listed three trims in August 2026: Trend at ₱1,399,000, Titanium X at ₱1,599,000 and the new Platinum at ₱1,655,000. All are front-wheel drive.
The system combines a 1.5-liter gasoline engine (148 hp, 230 Nm on its own), an electric motor that peaks at 215 hp and 315 Nm, a two-speed hybrid transmission and a 1.8 kWh lithium-ion battery. It charges itself, so there is no plug to worry about. Ford claims 0 to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds and a combined 19.6 km/L, and the hybrid's ability to creep on electric power should pay off in the start-stop crawl of EDSA or C5. The body is 4,685 mm long and 1,935 mm wide, with a 2,726 mm wheelbase and 185 mm of ground clearance.
Equipment is generous even on the base car. Per Top Gear, the Trend gets four airbags, a 360-degree camera, cruise control and a 12-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Titanium X adds two more airbags and a full set of driver aids, including adaptive cruise with stop-and-go, lane-keeping, blind-spot alert and autonomous emergency braking, plus a panoramic roof, ventilated front seats and a hands-free tailgate. The Platinum sits above that with more premium trim. The 185 mm clearance is lower than many crossovers, so be careful in deep floodwater, and remember that a hybrid's battery and electronics are best kept out of standing water. Shortlist it against the Toyota Corolla Cross, Nissan Kicks e-POWER and Mitsubishi Xforce.
Who it is for: City-based families who want a roomy five-seat crossover with low fuel use in traffic and no charging hassle.
