Everest overview
Ford reworked the Everest lineup in September 2026, and the four trims now on sale are new names. According to Top Gear Philippines, the Active 2.0L Turbo 4x2 costs ₱1,949,000, the Sport+ 2.0L Turbo 4x2 ₱2,219,000, the Wildtrak 2.0L Turbo 4x4 ₱2,669,000 and the Platinum 3.0L V6 4x4 ₱2,849,000. The Platinum replaces the old Titanium+ at the top, and Top Gear expects the older Trend and Sport trims to be phased out.
Three trims use the 2.0-liter single-turbo diesel with 168 hp and 405 Nm. The Platinum gets the 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel with 247 hp and 600 Nm. Every version has a 10-speed automatic. The Wildtrak and Platinum are 4x4s with an electronic rear differential lock and Mud/Ruts and Sand drive modes, and Ford quotes 800 mm of wading depth for the Wildtrak. Ford also lists an 80-liter fuel tank and a 3,500 kg towing limit. All trims share the same body: 4,914 mm long, 1,923 mm wide, a 2,900 mm wheelbase and 227 mm of ground clearance.
The Active is better equipped than an entry model usually is. Top Gear lists a 12-inch touchscreen, seven airbags, autonomous emergency braking and front and rear parking sensors, though it has only a rear camera and simpler cruise control. The Sport+ adds adaptive cruise, blind-spot monitoring and a 360-degree camera, which makes it the sweet spot for most families. The Wildtrak and Platinum add matrix LED lights, a panoramic roof and a power-folding third row. Cargo space is 199 liters with all seats up and 537 liters with the third row folded, per Ford. Compare it with the Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Montero Sport, Nissan Terra and Isuzu mu-X.
Who it is for: Families who want a well-equipped seven-seat diesel SUV for long provincial drives, with real 4x4 hardware in the upper trims.
