Urvan overview

The Urvan is Nissan's big diesel van, used for everything from deliveries to school services, and the NV350-based version is still on sale. Nissan's October 2026 price guide lists seven variants: 2.5 C MT at ₱1,280,000, Standard MT at ₱1,570,000, Standard Plus MT at ₱1,580,000, CX MT at ₱1,820,000, CX AT at ₱1,880,000, Premium MT at ₱2,105,000 and Premium AT at ₱2,165,000.

Every Urvan uses a 2.5-liter turbodiesel rated by Nissan at 129 PS and 356 Nm. Most versions have a five-speed manual, and the CX and Premium are also offered with an automatic. Seating depends on the variant. Zigwheels' listing includes a three-seat cargo version, 15-seat Standard and Premium models, a 17-seat Standard Plus, and its summary also mentions an 18-seat version. The tank holds 65 liters and ground clearance is 195 mm, per Zigwheels. Body length also differs by version, so measure your garage or terminal slot against the specific variant's spec sheet.

Choosing comes down to the job. The C, which appears to be the cargo version, is the cheapest way into a diesel Urvan for deliveries. The Standard and Standard Plus are the usual picks for school services and shuttles. The Premium adds comfort for private use or tourist transport, and its automatic suits drivers who spend all day in traffic. If you plan to carry paying passengers, you need the proper LTFRB franchise and a unit that meets its requirements, so sort that out before ordering. Mitsubishi now sells the same van as the Versa Van at ₱1,649,000 in a single 15-seat version, which costs more than the Urvan Standard, so get quotes from both. Toyota's Hiace is the other obvious rival.

Who it is for: School-service and shuttle operators, small businesses and big families who need a diesel van with many seats or a large cargo area.
