Versa Van overview
The Versa Van name returned in February 2026, but the van underneath is new to Mitsubishi. Top Gear Philippines reports it is a rebadged Nissan Urvan rather than a development of the old L300-based Versa Van. MMPC sells one version, the GLX 2.5D 2WD M/T, at ₱1,649,000 on its August 2026 list. It seats 15 including the driver, and it comes in Silver Metallic or White Solid.
The engine is the same as in the Nissan twin: a 2.5-liter turbodiesel with 127 hp and 356 Nm, paired with a five-speed manual. The tank holds 65 liters, enough for long school-service or shuttle routes. Only one variant is offered, so there is no automatic or lower-capacity version to choose from. Seating is spread over four rows behind the front bench, with foldable outboard seats for easier access to the back, and every row gets ceiling-mounted A/C vents, according to Top Gear. Zigwheels lists the van at 4,710 mm long with 195 mm of ground clearance.
The obvious question is why pay ₱1,649,000 for a Mitsubishi badge when Nissan's own Urvan 2.5 Standard 15-seater lists at ₱1,570,000 on Nissan's October 2026 price guide. Reasons could include a closer Mitsubishi dealer, an existing Mitsubishi fleet account or better trade-in terms, so get quotes from both brands. Operators planning to use the van for public transport need the proper LTFRB franchise and a body that meets its rules, so check that before ordering. For private use, it's a lot of seats for a big family or a church group, though parking a van this size in the city takes planning.
Who it is for: School-service operators, company shuttles and large families who need 15 seats and prefer dealing with a Mitsubishi dealer.
