Jimny 5-Door overview

The Jimny 5-Door stretches the three-door Jimny by 340 mm, enough for two rear doors and a more usable cargo area. In the Philippines it comes only with an automatic and four-wheel drive. The choice is between four versions: 1.5 GLX 4x4 AT (₱1,698,000), GLX Two-Tone (₱1,708,000), Rhino Edition Monotone (₱1,739,000) and Rhino Edition Two-Tone (₱1,749,000). Visayas and Mindanao SRPs are ₱70,000 higher. It is the Jimny for buyers who liked the three-door but could not live with its rear seat and tiny trunk.

It uses the same 1,462 cc four-cylinder as the three-door, listed at 100 hp and 130 Nm, with a four-speed automatic and four-wheel drive with 4H and 4L modes. It is 3,820 mm long on a 2,590 mm wheelbase, with 210 mm of ground clearance and a 40-liter tank. Like the three-door, it is listed as a four-seater, so the extra length goes into rear legroom and luggage space, not a fifth seat.

The 5-Door costs ₱343,000 more than a three-door GLX AT and gets no extra power for the money, while carrying more weight, so expect slower acceleration than the three-door. The longer wheelbase should make it calmer on the highway, and the rear doors make it far easier to load kids, groceries or camping gear. Buy it if you want a Jimny that can work as a family's second car during the week and still go off-road on weekends. If you mostly drive alone on trails, the three-door is cheaper and nimbler. The three-door got Suzuki Safety Support in 2026; check which safety features the current 5-Door units carry.

Who it is for: Buyers who love the Jimny's off-road ability but need rear doors and more cargo room for daily use.
