Patrol overview
The Y63 Patrol is Nissan's flagship in the Philippines. It launched here in March 2025, and Nissan's October 2026 price guide now lists two versions: the Patrol at ₱5,335,000 and the Patrol with Rear Display at ₱5,385,000. The cheaper one drops the rear-seat entertainment screens. Paint options add ₱20,000 for two-tone, ₱30,000 for premium and ₱50,000 for premium two-tone.
The Y63 uses a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6, rated by Nissan at 431 PS and 700 Nm, with a nine-speed automatic and four-wheel drive. Nissan also fits an adaptive air suspension, which it describes as a first in the segment. Zigwheels lists the Patrol at 5,350 mm long with 244 mm of ground clearance, a 98-liter tank and seating for eight. NissanConnect Services adds remote engine start and vehicle monitoring through a phone app.
A Patrol is a statement car, and the running costs come with it. A gasoline V6 in a vehicle this large will cost a lot to fuel in Manila traffic, and comprehensive insurance on a ₱5.3 million SUV is a sizable yearly bill. Its size also matters in practice: 5.35 meters will not fit every condo slot or older mall parking space. On the other hand, few vehicles carry eight people in this much comfort while also coping with flooded roads and rough provincial routes. The ₱50,000 difference between the two versions buys the rear screens, so families with children on long drives may find it worth it. The obvious rival is the Toyota Land Cruiser, and the comparison is worth making in person since both are expensive, long-term purchases.
Who it is for: Large families and executives who want a full-size, eight-seat luxury SUV with serious 4WD hardware and can handle the running costs.
