Traviz overview
The Traviz is Isuzu's small cab-over truck for businesses that have outgrown a pickup but don't need an N-Series. Isuzu Philippines sells it as a cab and chassis in two lengths: the Traviz S at ₱1,070,000 and the Traviz L at ₱1,140,000. What goes behind the cab is up to you. Dropside, aluminum van and utility van bodies from local body builders are the usual choices, and the body is priced separately from the SRP.
Both versions share a 2.5-liter 4JA1 common-rail diesel rated at 78 PS and 176.5 Nm, a five-speed manual and a 50-liter tank. The difference is the wheelbase: 2,250 mm for the S and 2,400 mm for the L, which takes overall length from 4,450 mm to 4,600 mm. Gross vehicle weight is 2,950 kg for both. Isuzu quotes a payload of 1,660 kg for the S and 1,655 kg for the L, and the body you add eats into that figure.
Equipment is basic: a radio with USB, two speakers and a reverse warning buzzer, with air-conditioning listed as optional. That is typical for a work truck, but it matters if your driver spends all day in Manila heat, so price the aircon in from the start. On paper, 78 PS is modest, so expect slow climbs with a full load. The short S is easier in narrow barangay streets and tight loading bays. The L makes more sense when cargo volume matters more than turning in small spaces. Either way, get the body builder's quote and the cab and chassis price together so the financing covers the finished truck.
Who it is for: Small businesses that move goods every day, such as distributors, caterers and hardware stores, and need more payload than a pickup offers.

Pros and cons
What we like on paper
- About 1,660 kg of payload (S) before body weight
- Simple 2.5L diesel with a five-speed manual

What to consider
- The SRP covers the cab and chassis only; the body costs extra
- 78 PS is modest with a full load
- Air-conditioning is optional, not standard

Isuzu Traviz FAQ
Does the Traviz price include the body?
No. Isuzu Philippines lists ₱1,070,000 for the Traviz S and ₱1,140,000 for the Traviz L as cab and chassis prices. Get a separate quote for the dropside, aluminum van or utility van body, and ask the dealer whether it can be included in the financing.
What is the difference between the Traviz S and L?
Wheelbase and length. The S has a 2,250 mm wheelbase and is 4,450 mm long; the L has a 2,400 mm wheelbase and is 4,600 mm long. Engine, gearbox and the 2,950 kg GVW are the same.
How many people can ride in a Traviz?
The cab seats up to three, according to ZigWheels Philippines. Utility van bodies with rear seats are built by third-party body makers, so make sure the finished vehicle is registered with the LTO for the use you plan.
